NetEase and Naked Rain have placed ANANTA on the calendar for January 15, 2027, giving the ambitious urban open-world RPG a concrete destination after years of attention-grabbing trailers. The free-to-play title is planned for iOS and Android alongside PC and PlayStation 5. ANANTA's setting remains its strongest differentiator. Rather than another wilderness filled with ruins and monsters, players move through a dense modern city using vehicles, parkour and multiple playable characters.

Urban worlds are technically demanding because they require traffic, pedestrians, interiors, lighting and rapid movement to coexist without obvious streaming problems. That makes the mobile version particularly interesting. Flagship phones can now produce remarkable graphics, but a global free-to-play game cannot realistically target only the most expensive hardware. Naked Rain therefore has to preserve the city's density while providing scalable settings for ordinary devices.

The January date gives the team several more months to demonstrate real gameplay, hardware requirements and monetization. ANANTA's visual promise is already established; the next challenge is proving that the city is more than an elaborate backdrop.
