Ajeeyoo Games is moving Scissor Seven: Shadow Clash through another phase of mobile testing as development continues on the pixel-art action RPG. Based on the popular animated series, Shadow Clash uses side-scrolling combat and a deliberate retro visual style instead of trying to reproduce the animation frame for frame. That decision gives the game a stronger identity while also allowing it to run across a wider range of phones.
A technical test planned for China during the third quarter of 2026 should give the development team more information about performance, combat responsiveness and progression before a wider release. Licensed games face a familiar challenge: recognizable characters can produce strong initial downloads, but retention depends on whether the underlying systems are enjoyable after the novelty disappears.
Shadow Clash's action-heavy format may help because it provides more direct player control than an automated character collector. International launch details remain limited, but continued testing is a positive sign. For fans of the series, the next milestone will be learning how much of Scissor Seven's humor and distinctive personality survives inside an action RPG structure.
