AppLovin is opening its self-serve advertising platform to all advertisers, and that matters because mobile growth is still partly a war fought in dashboards. The Axon name is becoming AppLovin Ads, giving marketers a more direct way into the machine. Less mysterious branding, more performance knobs. The UA battlefield gets another big button.
