and Roger has not even hit its June 18 mobile release date yet and it is already collecting award nominations like side quests. The game landed recognition for gameplay, impact and narrative at the 2026 Games for Change Awards. That gives it a nice pre-launch glow, which is basically the indie equivalent of walking into a room with dramatic lighting and everyone whispering, ‘Maybe this one is special.
