Valve has apparently decided that if you want a tiny e-ink screen for your Steam Machine dreams, you can build one yourself. Retro Handhelds reports the Inkterface firmware and CAD files are now open source. It is niche, nerdy and exactly the sort of DIY side quest that makes hardware fans suddenly own a soldering iron.
