Valve is openly investigating an Arm-based gaming future, and that could matter for future handhelds, mini PCs and SteamOS devices. The combination of FEX, Proton and SteamOS could eventually make Arm hardware more viable for PC gaming. No instant magic, but the direction is fascinating: lighter chips, cheaper devices and fewer old assumptions.
