Android 17’s foldable gaming mode remains one of the most interesting mobile hardware ideas of the week: gameplay on top, virtual controller below, clamshell-console vibes everywhere. Custom layouts, haptic feedback and controller-style inputs could make foldables feel much more serious for gaming. Just maybe do not rage-tap that soft display into retirement.
